Easter Island statues bigger than you think

It seems those heads are attached to bodies. Why bury the statues ? Why not just build heads ? They dont seem to resemble Human faces.

New photographs reveal what lies beneath the surface of Easter Island, one of the most remote places in the world -- the carved bodies of the island's 887 famous guardians. Most people think of the 63-square-mile Pacific island’s silent stone sentinels as simple heads. But the heads all have bodies -- and a backstory that's only now being pieced together, explained Jo Anne Van Tilburg, director of the Easter Island Statue Project. “Those statues which are the most photographed are standing in the quarry. They’re buried up to mid-torso level. So it’s understandable that the general public didn’t have a clue that those statues had bodies,” she told FoxNews.com. Men In Black - the real thing

UFO Debate: The Rendlesham Forest UFO Incident

A fairly civil debate on a celebrated UFO Event in England. Often called Englands Roswell.

Often called England's most famous UFO case or the British Rowell, the case actually involves at least two different UFO incidents at Woodbridge RAF air base (used by the USAF. at the time) in Rendlesham forest just outside the base. On the night of Dec. 25/26 or 26/27, 1980, guards at the East Gate of the base saw lights dropping from the sky into the forest to the east. Thinking it a plane crash, guards went to investigate, and ended up chasing a large, triangular, glowing object with a pulsating red light on top and a bank of blue lights underneath, that maneuvered through the woods and disappeared in the air. Animals in the woods and on a nearby farm "went into a frenzy." Witness Sgt. James Penniston stated he managed to walk up to and around the object, even touched it at one point.

The Titanic did not sink !

The Titanic had a sister ship, almost identical to the naked eye.
The Olympic had suffered two serious accidents and needed expensive repairs and was unlikely pass an inspection. Sometimes a Ship would be overinsured and sunk on purpose as a means to recoup losses.

Was the Olympic substituted for The Titanic in an effort to write it off as an insurance job ? The Ship already having substantial problems was no match for an Iceberg.

New Samsung TVs - ready to Spy on you

Samsungs new Internet enabled Smart TVs will come equipped with a micro camera and mic.
It will be difficult to remove them as they are built into the Bezel.
A competent Hacker might be able to gain access to these devices and spy on users.
Maybe even your friend The Government ?

Samsung’s 2012 top-of-the-line plasmas and LED HDTVs offer new features never before available within a television including a built-in, internally wired HD camera, twin microphones, face tracking and speech recognition. While these features give you unprecedented control over an HDTV, the devices themselves, more similar than ever to a personal computer, may allow hackers or even Samsung to see and hear you and your family, and collect extremely personal data.

Samsung demoed these features to the press earlier this month. The camera and microphones are built into the top if the screen bezel in the 2012 8000-series plasmas and are permanently attached to the top of the 7500- and 8000ES-series LED TVs.
A Samsung representative showed how, once set up and connected to the Internet, these models will automatically talk to the Samsung cloud and enable viewers to use new and exciting apps.

Kind of interesting when you take on CIA Director David Petraeus view for future directions of spying/surveillance...

Earlier this month, Petraeus mused about the emergence of an “Internet of Things” — that is, wired devices — at a summit for In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s venture capital firm. “‘Transformational’ is an overused word, but I do believe it properly applies to these technologies,” Petraeus enthused, “particularly to their effect on clandestine tradecraft.”
All those new online devices are a treasure trove of data if you’re a “person of interest” to the spy community. Once upon a time, spies had to place a bug in your chandelier to hear your conversation. With the rise of the “smart home,” you’d be sending tagged, geolocated data that a spy agency can intercept in real time when you use the lighting app on your phone to adjust your living room’s ambiance.
